Frequently asked questions
Planning a dependable engagement
These answers describe the general approach. Your scope, delivery plan and commercial terms remain specific to your project.
Discuss your projectHow much does custom software development cost?
Every project is estimated according to its scope, complexity, integrations, security requirements and delivery expectations. After an initial discussion, Hapmexo provides a written recommendation and commercial estimate.
Can Hapmexo modernise an existing .NET application?
Yes. Hapmexo can assess an existing .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core or WPF application and recommend a staged approach covering stabilisation, targeted refactoring, integration improvement, platform updates or replacement where evidence supports it.
Can you work with our internal development team?
Yes. Responsibilities, repositories, environments, review standards, communication cadence and decision ownership are agreed at the start so Hapmexo can work alongside internal developers and product stakeholders.
Who owns the source code?
Source-code ownership, repository access and intellectual-property terms are defined in the written engagement agreement. Hapmexo recommends agreeing these terms, along with handover and third-party dependency responsibilities, before development begins.
How are changes in scope handled?
A requested change is reviewed for its effect on effort, dependencies, risk and delivery expectations. The impact is documented and agreed before it is added to the active scope.
What support is available after launch?
Support can include defect resolution, monitoring review, dependency maintenance, operational assistance and prioritised improvements. The exact coverage, hours, response expectations and term are confirmed in the support agreement.
How do you protect confidential information?
Hapmexo uses access boundaries, secure coding practices, environment-based secret management and controlled project communication appropriate to the agreed scope. Confidentiality terms and any client-specific security requirements should be documented before sensitive access is provided.
Can you integrate third-party applications and APIs?
Yes. Hapmexo develops and integrates REST APIs and third-party systems with explicit contracts, validation, authentication boundaries, error handling and operational visibility.
Do you provide technical documentation?
Documentation is planned according to the engagement and may include architecture decisions, setup guidance, API contracts, deployment notes, operational runbooks and handover material.
Can you take over an incomplete software project?
Hapmexo can begin with a structured assessment of the codebase, environments, dependencies, backlog and known defects. The resulting recommendation identifies immediate risks and a practical recovery or continuation plan before larger commitments are made.
